THE HELL ZONE

This video is a live action shoot. The song interprets what I think is people’s understanding of death and encourages them to face death with optimism. When I conceived of the idea for the main characters, the man would represent humanity and the woman represents death. The gray and white smog symbolizes life. As death is ever present, I used strong lighting effects and shadows to express the conflict between life and death. I purposely didn’t use overly dramatic performances; instead I favored a calmer atmosphere to show people that death should be faced with serenity.
